“And te tide and te time þat tu iboren were, schal beon iblescet.” — St. Marher, 1225
In English, literally it meant ” Time and Tide Waits For No Man!” which also means that if I did not do anything about my blog here, you cannot possibly be reading anything now and even if there is nothing of interest here, it is still Saturday, 29th October 2011, 1538 hours in Singapore!
Fortunately I have an intention. A plan to make this blog useful and effective. A blog that could provide information of relevance to people looking for them online.
Mentally, a plan was already born and its objective visualized. This resulted in me having tasks that will fulfill the goals.
Over the past 3 days, I’ve written more than 7 pages of Information including this blog and assigned them to the right category for the visitors. I made a lot of mistakes but I kept correcting the articles, changing the contents as well as assigning them to the right menu tab. I also ensure those Hyper-links are working. Running and testing it Live!
I tweeted on Twitter under my account name “Prawfeed” so that visitors will come to my site, read some articles and comment about it. Of course, my desire is for the blog to become a Success!
Whether people actually visited the blog or read the articles or even leave a comment is not that important right now, although eventually the more the merrier. All accolades will be appreciated whilst all criticisms or comments will be scrutinized and improve on.
As a result of taking some actions, within 3 days my blog have blossom into an actual working website even though more tasks is still necessary to complete the process. I have taken many steps forward via the action taken here and theoretically, I had achieved many goals already.
How about yourself?
Have you taken your first step yet in the thing that you want to do? Hesitate no more and just do it and your success will surely come.
I wish you god speed in your undertakings!
The common conception is that motivation leads to action, but the reverse is true – action precedes motivation. You have to ‘prime the pump’ and get the juices flowing, which motivates you to work on your goals. Getting momentum going is the most difficult part of the job, and often taking the first step…is enough to prompt you to make the best of your day. — Robert J. McKain
As of 27 March 2014, there was a total of 55 articles posted on this blog! If there were no action taken on my part then no goals would ever been met.
