Getting Fit To Survive Online and Offline

I was liberating if I should write an article today because its the first anniversary of my Post CABG at NHC Singaporesuccessful Triple Heart Bypass surgery or CABG and it is precisely this predicament that I am still very active online trying to make money smartly with whatever tools or education that make me the Internet Marketer I wanted to become.

One year ago, 25 Oct 2012, and after several prognosis and testing I was told my heart was only functioning between 20 to 25% of its efficiency. A huge half of my  heart was already declared DEAD and there is only 2 options:

  • Have a Ballooning Procedure with 7 stents required
  • Have a Heart Bypass Operation

Instantly I opted for a Bypass Operation as its much cheaper than having 7 stents and also having the fear of going for another ballooning procedure every 8 to 10 years from then on.

The process was agonizing and its something that I do not want anyone I knew to go through in life. I wrote an eBook about my episode but the response was bad but last week I intended to re-write it again as part of my gratitude for being alive and kicking after one year and I am doing a disservice to others if I do not share such information. My positioning is that as long as someone out there download, read and appreciate the content then my aim has been satisfied.

It took 9 months for me to go through the agony of not being able to work on a JOB but that is also blessing in disguise as I immersed into online marketing during that period of time and learns more about the industry and business. By now, I have revamped my previous blogs, getting more engagement using Social Media and cranking up products for sale. Its like I am on a full time internet marketing ‘degree’ course!

I tried to allocate as much time as possible to exercises, knowing that its tiring and tedious but at the same time it will improve my heart functionality. Last month result from my recent Echo-cardiography showed that it had improved to 40% and I was ecstatic about it!

Trying to get fit when doing my online and offline activities is not easy as there is a need to balance the time spent for ‘work’, rest, exercise or dieting. There is a need to constantly reminding myself that the heart is weak thus it cannot be overstretch or stress.

Have you come across a crisis such as mine? How do you overcome it?
